Miriam E. Fisher, 95, of Bellefontaine, Ohio and formerly of Columbus, Ohio passed away Saturday morning, July 24, 2021, at Mary Rutan Hospital in the Emergency Department in Bellefontaine.
Mim was born in Ridgeway, Ohio May 1, 1926, to the late John Alonzo and Bertha E. (Kindsey) Fisher. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Terri Lynn Oldd.
Mim is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Lewis Kaye and Patricia Fisher of Ridgeway, Ohio; a nephew, John Brian (Kristy) Fisher of Indian Lake, Ohio; a niece, Laura (Richard) Wallace of Bellefontaine; six great-nieces; one great-nephew; four great-great-nephews and a great-great-niece.
Mim graduated from Ridgeway High School and obtained a business degree from Ohio Northern University. She worked for several years as the secretary for Ridgeway Schools. Mim then moved to Columbus and worked in the State Auditor’s Office for thirty plus years before retiring in 1991. With this job, she traveled throughout Ohio setting up booths for the state auditors office at the county fairs. Mim was a former member of the Columbus Moose. She enjoyed her time on the family farm, loved traveling and seemed to always know somebody wherever she went.
There will be no services at this time for Mim. She will be interred in the Hale Cemetery at a later date.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Fisher family.
