Mitsue K. Nolan, 84, of Bellefontaine passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at her residence.
She was born October 29, 1931 in Iwamizawa City, Hokkaido Island, Japan, the daughter of the late Eisaku and Haru Kitazuka. On November 22, 1957, she married Richard Ray Nolan in Tokyo, Japan, and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1997. She is also preceded in death by 10 sisters and one brother.
She is survived by a son, Richard ‘Perry’ (Tammy) Nolan of Columbus, Ohio, one granddaughter, Erica Renay (Justin) Cluck of Bellefontaine, one great granddaughter, Emery Cluck and another great-grandchild on the way, one sister, one half-sister, numerous nieces and nephews, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Davis of Harper, Ohio and Nettie Nolan of Huntsville, Ohio.
Mitsue was a member of the Bellefontaine First Assembly of God and had worked as an interpreter for the International Friendship Center in Bellefontaine for more than 25 years.
Pastor John Musgrave will officiate a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
