Monica Francis Lehmon

Monica Francis Lehmon, age 34, of Logan County Ohio, went peacefully to be with the Lord Sunday morning, March 20, 2022, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. 

Monica was born in Brooklyn, New York March 14, 1988, to Mary Ellen Murphy and Anthony Francis Lehmon.  She grew up in New York and Ohio and graduated in 2006 from Benjamin Logan High School.  

Monica is survived by her beautiful children, Kamryn Ridge, Kehyara and Kayce Whiting.  She is also survived by her mother, Mary Ellen Murphy; sisters and brothers-in-law: Crystal and Desmond Linville, Lisa and Joshua Prater, and Caroline and Grant Palmer; a nephew, Kendall Plikerd; nieces: Hayley Prater, Emma Linville, and Addison Prater and a great-niece, Elena Linville.

Monica was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Lehmon of Brooklyn, New York.

Monica was a beautiful, smart, and hilarious daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and friend to many.  Her smile would light up any room and her charisma would melt your heart.  Monica made up for her small stature with her spunky and lively attitude that we will never forget.  We remember her as such, and are forever grateful that the Lord has allowed us to share what we call a short time here on Earth.

A celebration of Monica’s life will be held privately by the family.
