Myra J. Wildermuth, 81, of Maplewood passed away Sunday morning, March 15, 2015 at Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine.
She was born on March 17, 1933 in Shelby County to the late Harley E. and Ethel E. (Shroyer) Zwiebel. On June 13, 1959, she married Merle Wildermuth and he preceded her in death on December 30, 1998. Myra was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Uleta and Robert Eveslage, sister and brother-in-law Doris and Eugene Fogt, and a brother Edwin Zwiebel.
Myra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Bert Regula of Jackson Center and two grandchildren Emma and Seth Regula. She is also survived by three brothers, Thomas (Cindy) Zwiebel of Jackson Center, Donald (Helen) Zwiebel of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Frederick (Judy) Zwiebel of Sidney; and several nieces and nephews.
Myra retired from Plastipak Packaging in 1995 and continued to help with the family farming operations. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center. She loved watching NASCAR and her favorite driver, Joey Logano. She enjoyed cooking along with gardening which she and her daughter always contemplated in the spring, especially all the flowers in the garden. Myra looked forward to playing dominoes with her family, and usually won. She adored her family, especially spending time with her two grandchildren and will be missed by many friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Jackson Center from 4-8pm. Pastor Kent Hollis will officiate the funeral on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, where visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson.
