Nancy Byler

Biography

Nancy Mattie Byler, 95, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Monday, September 1, 2015 at her home.

She was born in Hartville, Ohio on August 31, 1920, the daughter of the late Menno and Nancy (Miller) Troyer.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace Byler and their children; Judy (Leroy) Miller of Shipshewana, IN, Ruth (Levi) Schlabach of Belle Center, OH, Nancy, of the home, Elsie (Robert) Yoder of Blackville, SC, Laura (Stephen) Miller of Belle Center, OH, Rachel (Steven) Miller of LaGrange, IN, Elizabeth (Paul) Miller of Crossville, TN, Martha (Lloyd) Gingerich of Belle Center, OH, and Amy (Mahlon) Coblentz of Belle Center, OH, 58 grandchildren, and 103 great grandchildren, and a sister, Amanda Sommers of Hartville, IN.

Preceding her in death was her only son, Paul as well as his wife, Leona, an infant daughter, Sadie, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five brothers, and three sisters.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 2nd from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 pm at the Byler Residence, 4847 County Road 96, Belle Center, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am Friday, September 4, 2015 at the residence. Burial will be in the Belle Center Amish Cemetery.
