Nancy Ann Dearwester, 78, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born January 16, 1932 in Cedarville, Ohio to the late Frederick Karl and Donna Isabel (Ford) Hanauer.
On December 25, 1961 she married William “Willie” Dearwester in Bellefontaine, and he survives along with three daughters, Beverly “B.J.” Dalke of Bellefontaine, Linda Cronin of Leesville, Louisiana and Donna (Jeffrey) True of Russells Point, Ohio; a sister, Sue (Ed) Brumbaugh of Beavercreek, Ohio; grandchildren, David Dalke, Nancy (Dalke) Harris, Robert and Thomas Conner, Nathan and Matthew Miranda, Donna (Mitchell) Johnson, and Olivia True; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was a son-in-law, David Dalke, a grandchild, Billie Conner, and one great grandchild.
Nancy was an registered nurse and worked for Mary Rutan Hospital for seventeen years and previously worked at Siemens, formerly Bulldog, for seventeen years.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church and was in the Bible Study group at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Nancy loved nursing and enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her friends.
Calling hours will be Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 2 to 5 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Father Harold Kist will conduct a funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 9, 2010, at the St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church in the St. Joseph Room. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine following the service.
