Nancy J. Henry, 79, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her home.

She was born on June 25, 1935 in Celina, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Franklin and Grace Elizabeth (Bennett) Barker.

On December 20, 1953, she married Robert L. “Bob” Henry and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2013. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Keith Barker.

She is survived by her children; Robert (Lana) Henry Jr. of Mt. Gilead, Diantha Jane (Mark) Huffman, James (Sherry) Henry both of Bellefontaine, Coleen (Douglas) Reprogle of Huntsville; grandchildren, Chelsea (Ray) Meals, Bracken Henry, Joshua (Chrissy) Huffman, Jeth (Misty) Huffman, Craig (Lyndsey) Henry, Jaime (Rob) Yelton, Jordanne (Travis Murphy) Henry, Elisa (Cameron) Klump, Erica (Stephen) James, Tyler and Tatum Reprogle; 14 great grandchildren (with five more coming this year); sisters, Rosemary (Charles) Barton of Bellefontaine, Alice (Douglas) Baughman of DeGraff; brothers, Bill (Fran) Barker of California and numerous nieces and nephews.

She retired as Treasurer at the First Church of God in Bellefontaine.

She was a member of the First Church of God where she was on the Sunday School Church Board for many years and also taught Sunday School. She was the Director of Bible School and the coordinator of Primary Children’s Church. She was involved with the Senior Saints group at the church.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2 – 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine. Pastors C. J. Plogger and Ray Headings will conduct a funeral service on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Church of God, Bellefontaine. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
