Nancy Lantz

Nancy Jo Lantz, 75, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. She was born February 23, 1936 in Kenton, Ohio, to the late Harold Lewis and Esther Mae (Farrison) Jolliff.

On July 21, 1956, she married Gene Paul Lantz in Richmond, Indiana, and he preceded her in death October 22, 1995. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Larry M. Jolliff.

Surviving are her children; Thomas L. Lantz of Mansfield, Ohio, Debra J. Makemson and Kimberly S. Lantz, both of Bellefontaine, and Cynthia J. (Mike) Clark of Huntsville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Wesley Makemson, Kaylee and Lance Clark, and D.J. and Drew Rostorfer; and a special sister-in-law, Velma Jolliff.

A Bellefontaine High School graduate, Nancy retired from J.C. Penney and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #173. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards with her family and friends, her trips to Las Vegas and spending time with the grandchildren.

Gene Marine will conduct the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with visitation from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
