Nancy L. Titus, 70, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday evening, December 2, 2013 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born in Bellefontaine July 17, 1943, to the late Henry B. and Mildred Ruth (Bryan) Green. She married Kay M. Titus June 15, 1963 in Bellefontaine, and he preceded her in death November 27, 2001.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Teresa (David) Terry of St. Paris, Ohio, Karen (Greg) Vetter of Wapakoneta, Ohio and Kimberly (Jason) Zerkle of Blanchester, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Brian (Katie) Dressback, Cody (Amber) Dressback, Dale Terry, Christina Terry, Jacob Vetter, Jonathan Zerkle, Nicholas Zerkle and Samantha Zerkle; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a special companion, Fred Krock of Jumbo.
Nancy was a dental assistant and also worked at Westinghouse, then retired after ten years at Playtex. When needed, Nancy was known to help on the farm too. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, First Family of Logan County, Kings Daughters, a former member of the Fair Board and did volunteer work at Mary Rutan Hospital. Nancy enjoyed crafts at the Logan County Senior Center. She attended the St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point, Ohio.
Calling hours will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine Friday, December 6, 2013, from 4 to 7 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 10 A.M. at the St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point. Interment will follow the mass at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania, Ohio.
