Naomi June Birt, 86, of Rushsylvania, Ohio. went to be with her Lord Jesus Monday, September 3, 2012.

One of nine children, she was born November 8, 1925, in Rushsylvania to the late Russell and Mary (Ansley) Crisler.

On September 4, 1949, she married Kenneth W. Birt and he preceded her in death September 26, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Norma Daum; brothers, Welman, Wellington G., and Merlyn Crisler, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Birt.

Surviving are three sons, William (Debbie) Birt, Stephen (Angie) Birt and Carl (Trish) Birt; two daughters, Kathleen (Tommy) Bellomy and Jeanette (Chuck) Hildreth; her siblings, Charles Crisler, Esther Jones, Marlene Thompson, and Mary Lou Harden; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Crisler, Mary Kay Crisler, and Nancy Crisler; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, especially, Rebecca and Jennifer Crisler.

A 1943 graduate of Rushsylvania High School, June was a homemaker, a lifelong active member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, and the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother ever. Besides her family, she also enjoyed music, gardening, reading, NBA basketball, and giving to various Christian missions. June had a sense of humor and a love for Jesus.

Pastor Lynn Cleaveland will officiate the 11:00 A.M. funeral service Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ where calling hours are Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Logan County Weekday Religious Education.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
