Naomi Gildow

Naomi Eileen Gildow, 83, of Bellefontaine passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 in Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in York Center, Ohio on July 2, 1931, the daughter of the late Adam and Thelma (Sherman) Price.

On May 25, 1949 she married Garld “Gail” Richard Gildow in Union County and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1992. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Gildow Hayman in 2001 and her son, Keith Gildow, Sr. in 2012 and a brother John Price.

She is survived by two sons; Rick (Mary) Gildow and Gail (Jeanne) Gildow, both of Bellefontaine, a daughter in law; Cindy Gildow of Bellefontaine, six grandchildren; Stacie (Jon) Steele, Keith Gildow, Jr., both of Bellefontaine, Heidi Gildow of Dublin, Jeremy (Gaile) Gildow and Katie (Kelly) Buffkin, both of Bellefontaine and Justin (Andrea) Gildow of Beavercreek, eight great grandchildren, and five brothers; Milton (Aryes) Price of Columbus, Adam Price of Gahanna, Silvan Price of Columbus, Ronald (Libby) Price of Marysville and Richard (Karen) Price of Pataskala, and many nieces and nephews.

Naomi was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine. She always enjoyed square dancing. She graduated high school in 1949 and later worked for the Lutheran Thrift Store as well as White’s Music Store and then later as a clerk for JC Penny, all of Bellefontaine.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine officiated by Pastor Jeff Willetts. Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
