Nevolyn “Janie” Jenkins, 82, of Bellefontaine, formerly of Huntsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 11:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Logan Acres Care Center. She was born in Hardin County on July 6, 1933 to the late Herman & Rachel (Ford) Tracy. On September 8, 1952, she married Donald L. Jenkins and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2005.

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Jodi) Jenkins of Belle Center, Tom (Betty) Jenkins of Huntsville, and Tim (Robin) Jenkins of Huntsville; grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Roberts, Anthony (Tabitha) Jenkins, Shane (Ashley) Jenkins, Mat Jenkins, Aubrey (Calvin) Carter, Mikael Neeley, Kylie Jenkins, and Tim Jenkins Jr; great grandchildren, Rylen, Reid, Preslie, Bear, and Kinley; Step-grandchildren, Lisa Zimpfer & Donald Dugan; Step-great grandchildren, Seph, Gage, Peyton, Colton, Hailey, and Emma; sister, Margie (James) Patterson of Pickerington, Ohio; brother, Kay (Roxie) Tracy of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Janie was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Nickell, Audrey Wallace, and Ann Miller; and brothers, Harold Tracy, Ed Tracy, and 2 infant brothers.

Janie was a nurse’s aid for 16 years at Logan Acres Care Center and also worked many years in the floral department of Kroger in Bellefontaine. She was a member of the Huntsville United Methodist Church. Janie loved being with her family and especially watching her grandkids sporting events. She enjoyed watching basketball and was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be Friday, June 24th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harrod Cemetery in McArthur Township.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
