Nina Williams

Nina Marie Williams, 92, of Bellefontaine passed away Monday morning, February 6, 2017 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Columbus on March 5, 1924 to the late Dallas Thurman and Blanche (Fox) Mabra. Nina was also preceded in death by sons Lewis Breaston, Edward Breaston, David Breaston and Jeffery Williams; daughter Carmen Marie Ferguson; three brothers: Dallas Mabra, William Mabra and Robert Mabra; and four sisters: Dora Ford, Phenon Richey, Betty Brown and Helen Deslandes.

Nina was a member of the Auburn Avenue Baptist Church and worked many years as a janitor at the former Pine Avenue School. She was a good mother and good grandmother, and will be missed by many.

Nina is survived by a son Kenneth Williams; two daughters: Arretta (Robert) Scott and Phenon (William) Shoots, all of Bellefontaine; many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
