Norma Prall

Biography

Norma Louise “Weezie” Prall, 81, of West Liberty passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty. She was born in Middleburg, Ohio on May 16, 1933 to the late Mac Prall and Margaret (Shirk) Prall Hindall.

Weezie is survived by three nieces, Beth (David) Poland of West Liberty, Jana (Dennis) Wolever of Marysville, and Erica Prall of Bellefontaine; a nephew Ed (Tammy) Prall of West Liberty; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Allen Prall and her nephew Brian Prall.

Weezie had worked as a babysitter and sold Avon for several years. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and writing short stories and poems. On special occasions, she would often write poems for her family and friends. She attended Union Chapel Church for most of her life, and most recently attended South Union Mennonite Church in West Liberty.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, Ohio.
