Norman C. Millisor, 87, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away at 1:15 P.M. Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty, Ohio.
He was born in Marion, Ohio April 12, 1925, to the late Willis and Willa Fields Millisor.
On March 2, 1946, he married the former Carol Stevenson in Worcester, Massachusetts and she preceded him in death December 29, 2003. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Anshutz and seven brothers; Robert, Darrel, John, Junior, Irvin, Ralph and Dick Millisor.
A graduate of LaRue High School, Norman served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for Millisor Chevrolet in Belle Center and then in Russells Point, Ohio after it was relocated in 1967 He was also a member of Indian Lake Community Church.
Norman is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Schrader of Lakeview, Ohio and Nancy Rapp of Lewistown, Ohio; six grandchildren, Nicole (James) Schwieterman of Toledo, Ohio, Ryan (Erin) Schrader of Columbus, Ohio, Molly (Wes) Hall of Belle Center, Abbey Rapp-Cotterman of Lewistown, Ohio, Jonn (Valarie) Rapp of Huntsville, Ohio and Morgan (Jeremy) Kaser of Elida, Ohio; twelve great-grandchildren, Sydney and Reed Schwieterman, Maddux, Cooper and Miller Hall, Libby, Allix and Kendall Cotterman, Annie and Aaron Rapp, Owen and Ivy Kaser; and two brothers, Russel (Nancy) Millisor of Belle Center and Ronald “Jack” Millisor of Marion, Ohio.
Calling hours are Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center. Following the visitation, Pastor Karen Blackburn will conduct a graveside service at 6:00 P.M. at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
