Olijean W. Scott

Olijean W. “Jean” Scott, age 81, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 10:45 A.M. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Pike County Kentucky January 22, 1937, to the late Jonah and Ruby (Riddell) Stiltner.

On January 25, 1986, she married Wilkie Travis Scott and he preceded her in death May 31, 2013. She was also preceded in death by two previous husbands, Avery Wilson and Frank Woolson; brothers, John Samuel Stiltner, Thomas Stiltner, Henry Stiltner, and William Stiltner and a sister, Mary Stiltner.

She is survived by a son, Jonah Wilson; her sisters, Golda (Jack) Scott and Bonnie Lou Church; a stepdaughter, Renee (Troy) Stamper; a stepson, Wilkie Douglas Scott and many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

Jean was a Freewill Baptist. She was a hard working woman. Jean worked on cars and took care of her lawn.  She enjoyed drinking her hot tea and loved cats.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 11 A.M. to 12 noon at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, Ohio.

A graveside service will then take place at 12:30 P.M. at the Fairview Cemetery in Quincy, Ohio.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
