Pamela Jean Shaner, 74, of Jackson Center, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Dublin Methodist Hospital. She was born in Lima, Ohio on September 18, 1948, to the late Donald and Doris (Strahm) Snider.
On December 2, 1987, she married Tommy “Tom” Shaner and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2016. She is also preceded in death by sisters: Karen Douglas and Patt Hughes.
She is survived by daughters: Shannon (Andrew) Pierce and Dawn King; grandchildren: Megan King, Adam (Beth) King, Tayler Pierce and Tristin Pierce; great grandchildren: Kayden King and Myla Curry; sisters: Almary Willmann, Deb Seitz, Kathy Eisert, Donna Little; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pam was a member of the Rousculp Church of Christ. She recently retired after a 20 year career at Airstream. She was enjoying her retirement time relaxing and spending time with family. Pam spoke very highly of her friends and the wonderful times she and Tom had with them over the years.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Mercy Mission House Emergency Shelter, 950 Childrens Home Road, Sidney, OH 45365. As many of you know, Pam had a generous heart and always wanting to help others and often stopping to provide monetary donations to those less fortunate.
A private service and burial will take place at the Emanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Montra on April 27, 2023.
