Patricia Ann Barber, 60, formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008, at her residence in Bluefield, West Virginia, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Jenkins, Kentucky, on November 8, 1947, a daughter of the late Hubert Edward and Dorothy Lee LeMaster Ferry.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Bobby B. Barber; sons, Donald Gene (Kathy) Vanover of Bluefield, Bobby Berlin (fiancée, Ashley Gillespie) Barber of Charlottesville, Va., and Charles David (Lori) Barber of DeGraff; daughters, Teresa (Wayne) Jacobs of Daphne, Ala., and Sandra (John) Reid of DeGraff; special grandchildren, Joshua Michael Cruey and Jeffrey King, both of Bluefield, Chelsea Daicee Lawson of Richlands, Va., Jaylee Reid of DeGraff and Amber King of Lynchburg, Va.; special great-grandchild, Braiden King of Lynchburg. Patricia had a total of 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was of the Christian faith.
Pastor Roger Childers will conduct the funeral service Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling is one hour prior to the service. Interment is in the Huntsville Cemetery.
