Patricia Chappell

Patricia A. Chappell, 64, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born March 11, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Robert B. and Mary Rita (Nuttley) Even.

Surviving is her husband, Russell Chappell, whom she married on October 15, 1965 in Covington, Kentucky. She is also survived by a son, Russ Chappell Jr. of Dana Point, California; two daughters, Rachael Jones of Columbus and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Hunter of Liberty Township, Ohio; a brother and sister, Robert B. Even Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mary Katherine Sayne of Effingham, Illinois; five grandchildren, Christopher, Lonell, Noah, Roman, and Matthew; and special friends, Jim and Connie Furby of Bellefontaine.

A homemaker, Patricia formerly worked at Lee’s Shoes in Bellefontaine. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine, Past President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #2166, a member of the Bellefontaine American Legion Auxiliary #173, and the Hi Point Elks in Bellefontaine. She enjoyed quilting, antique shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:10 P.M. on Friday, November 13, 2009, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Sheridan officiating. Calling hours will be from 10 A.M to noon on Friday prior to the mass, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
