Patricia I. Edwards

Patricia I. Edwards, age 83, of Zanesfield, Ohio passed away at 2:52 P.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Zanesfield March 23, 1934, to the late Delbert and Margaret (Eddy) Herd. On April 27, 1963, she married Ernest William “Bill” Edwards and he preceded her in death August 29, 2006. Patricia was also preceded in death by two siblings, Martha Jean Thomas and Charles Herd.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Richard) Mason and Dwight (Vickie Metzler) Jackson, both of Zanesfield; a step-son, Ernest W. Edwards Jr. of Bellefontaine, Ohio; three grandchildren, Camden (Amy) Winters of Cable, Ohio, Brandi (Nick) Anderson of Catawba, Ohio, and Michael Mason of Dublin, Ohio; six great grandchildren, Grace, Reagan, and Reese Winters, Kalli, Piper, and Andi Anderson; siblings, Dwight Herd of Wilmington, Delaware, Maxine Wirick of Howard City, Michigan, Rosemarie Shape of Bellefontaine, Ruthanne Thallman of Richwood, Ohio, Jaunita Ely of Bellefontaine, Janet Watkins of Bellefontaine, and Connie Curtis of Lakeview, Ohio.

Patricia was a graduate of Zanesfield-Monroe High School. She retired from DAB, where she was a line worker for many years. Patricia enjoyed collecting antiques and attending auctions.

Patricia’s wishes were to be cremated. A graveside service will take place at a later date.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
