Patricia Hurst

Patricia Faye Hurst, 84, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at 7:20 A.M. at Heartland Care Center in Bellefontaine. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa August 27, 1926, to the late Don and Faye (Bourn) Rarick. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Rutherford and a dear friend, Marge Roll.

She was married to Fred Hurst and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons, Darrell Hurst of Bellefontaine, Randy (Sue) Hurst of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Sharry (Frank) Cummings of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Darren (Beth) Puckett, Season (Cliff) Wall, Joey Hurst and Shannon Hurst; a step granddaughter, Angie Burkhammer; great grandchildren, Collin Puckett, Sidney Puckett, Evan Wall and Henry Wall; a niece, Susan (Lee) Alexander of West Liberty, Ohio, and a great niece, Mandy Metzger.

She was an inspector for DAB in Bellefontaine, and retired in 1991. A member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Eagles of Bellefontaine, she loved to watch old movies on television.

Gene Marine will conduct a graveside service at 1 P.M. in the Bellefontaine Cemetery Friday, March 11, 2011.

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
