Patricia Nelson

Patricia M. Nelson, 68, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born August 20, 1943 in Dallas, Texas, to the late Egbert E. Perkins and Elta J. (Compton) Gonske. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Ed Gonske.

Surviving are her children, Nels (Nicole) Nelson of Hilliard, Ohio, Kelly (Eric) Kite of Bellefontaine and Lindsey (Brian) Pulfer of Delaware, Ohio; a brother Mark Gonske of Conifer, Colorado, and 5 grandchildren, Abigail Kite, Skylar and Ryder Nelson and Kelton and Kyler Pulfer.

Patricia retired from 3-C in Dayton, Ohio as an administrative assistant and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communication from Wright State University. She enjoyed working in her yard, spending time with her friends and loved being with her grandchildren and attending all their events.

Rev. Rob Fulton will officiate an 11:00 A.M. funeral service Friday, April 27, 2012 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine. Calling hours are from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
