Patricia Ann (Miller) Woolf, 81, of Bellefontaine, and formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 9:36 a.m. on July 8, 2016, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She died following complications from an elected surgery to replace her hip. She was born November 19, 1934, in Dallas, Texas to the late William C. and Helen Dorothy (Bailey) Miller of Wapakoneta. On July 14, 1973, in Wapakoneta, she married David Woolf and he preceded her in death, June 7, 1993.

Patricia is survived by 2 sons, Bradley (Mary) Woolf of Bellefontaine, and David Woolf of Lima; five grandchildren, Heidi (William) Edwards of Marysville, Brien (Jes) Woolf of Bellefontaine, Micah Woolf of Bellefontaine, Courtney Morgan of Lima, and Dustin Morgan of Lima; great grandchildren, Alexander Edwards, Jay Tuttle, Sarah, Boden, Jayden, Jordan, Ellie, Max and Ava; a brother, Bill (Christine) Miller of Lakeview; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was educated as a school teacher and taught in Harrisburg, Pa, Wapakoneta, Waynesfield, and New Bremen. She worked for the Auglaize County Election Board and later was an assistant to Secretary of State, Anthony Celebrezze. Patricia, who also had a degree in theater and assisted by her late husband, Dave, are credited with the creation of the Wapakoneta Theater Guild. She produced and directed over 50 plays, dinner theaters, and special events. Patricia is credited with teaching drama and directing to many young thespians, some of whom continue to work with the Wapakoneta Theater Guild. In May, Patricia was recognized by the Theater Guild for her contributions during a performance of “Driving Miss Daisy”. For over 15 years Patricia taught drama at Only Believe Ministries and was a graduate of their Bible College. She was also an accomplished WEB designer and developed the first WEB site for Only Believe Ministries. Patricia was also the web designer and web master for the Youth SONCENTER in Lewistown for over ten years. Patricia designed blume1952.com and worked with Blume High School alumni to continue annual reunions for the class of ’52.

Deacon Harold Dipple will officiate a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 328 E. Patterson Ave. Bellefontaine. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 12th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
