Paul D. Alexander, 65, of Belle Center, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
He was born on June 22, 1944 in Pocatello, Idaho, to the late Delmar H. and-Marquarite (French) Alexander. Losing his mother at three months, he was raised by his father and step-mother, Christine (Craig) Alexander whom are deceased.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Fulkerson, whom he married on August 27, 1967, in Belle Center, Ohio. Also surviving is a son and a foster son; a brother, Jerry W. (Dixie) Alexander of Florida; a sister, Barbara (Ray) Tennant of Idaho; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul worked for Fulmer’s Market in customer service. He graduated from Bellefontaine High School and was a member of the Calvary Christian Fellowship Church in St. Mary’s, Ohio. He volunteered at WTLW-TV 44 in Lima, Ohio, where he worked with their prayer line and was involved in several Christian Gospel music ministries. He enjoyed his pets.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
