Paul W. Byler, 67, of Belle Center, Ohio, entered into rest at his home Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 3:30 P.M. as the result of a heart attack. He was born in Hartville, Ohio September 18, 1946, to Wallace and Mattie (Troyer) Byler and they survive in Belle Center.
Paul was a member of the Belle Center Amish Church.
Paul married Leona (Zook) Byler in Hartville May 23, 1969, and she survives in Belle Center. He is also survived by four sons: Jonathan (Susan) Byler, James (Lois) Byler, Philip Byler and Matthias (Deborah) Byler; three daughters: Rebecca (Marvin) Huston, Iva Kay Byler and Rachel Byler, all of Belle Center; twenty grandchildren; nine sisters: Judy (Leroy) Miller of Shipshewana, Indiana, Ruth (Levi) Schlabach of Belle Center, Nancy Byler of Belle Center, Elsie (Robert) Yoder of Blackville, South Carolina, Laura (Stephen) Miller of Belle Center, Rachel (Steven) Miller of LaGrange, Indiana, Elizabeth (Paul) Miller of Crossville, Tennessee, Martha (Lloyd) Gingerich of Belle Center and Amy (Mahlon) Coblentz of Belle Center.
Paul was preceded in death by an infant sister Sadie Byler and a granddaughter, Jewel Faith Byler.
Calling hours will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Lloyd Gingerich residence in Belle Center after 2 P.M. Bishop Marcus Schlabach will officiate the funeral service Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Gingerich residence at 9:30 A.M. Interment will be in the Belle Center Amish Cemetery.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center assisted the family with the arrangements
