Paul M. Thomas

Paul Matthew Thomas, 51, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

He was born in Bellefontaine on May 13, 1971, the son of Robert Easter and Nadine Marie (Conner) Thomas, who both survive.

On December 23, 2016, he married Nicole “Niki” Sorreles, and she survives.  He is also survived by a daughter, Megan Thomas, a stepson, Graycen Gross, a sister, Denay (David) Whitaker, Uncle Tom and Aunt Marjorie Conner, a cousin, Randy Conner and his son, Derrick, a niece, Trinity Fite, a nephew, Dylan (Jacquie) Fite and their son, Liam, his in-laws, Butch and Karen Sorreles, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, including his best friends Nathan, Jason, and John.

He was preceded in death by twin brothers (at birth), John and Joseph Thomas.

Paul worked as a physical therapy assistant for 20 years.  He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and going canoeing at which some point, the canoe was definitely going to be tipped over.  He also liked wood working and was a handy man who could fix anything.  He loved to camp and karaoke with friends, loved being outdoors, and cooking outdoors on his grill and smoker, and loved his dog, Stella.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022, in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine.  Visitation will be on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and from 10 to 11am on Saturday, prior to the service.  A wake will follow at the home of his sister, Denay Whitaker, on Saturday.
