Paul L. Williams, 68, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away at his residence Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio March 8, 1944, to the late Thomas L. and Oma E. (Fender) Williams. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha A. Williams; sisters, Doris Ann Schultz and Phyllis Irene Yoder, and a brother-in-law, Darrell Yoder.
On October 10, 1964, he married Leila N. Karg in Bellefontaine and she survives along with two daughters, Sheryl (Marcia Mason) Williams of Georgia and Stacey (Doug) Bleininger of Belle Center, Ohio; two grandchildren, Heather and Dennis Bleininger; his aunt, Margaret Lockwood, and several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Paul graduated in 1962 from Logan Hills and after thirty years of service, he retired from Navistar, then worked for E.W.H. Spectrum for seventeen years. He was an avid bowler and bowled in the Sunset League and was a HAM Radio Operator (KD8GF). He enjoyed watching his grandchildren show at the Logan County Fair and The Ohio State Fair. Paul and his wife, Leila, loved riding the Harley, but they never knew where they would end up.
Rev. Bryan Meadows and Rev. Dick Rohrer will officiate the 1:00 P.M. funeral service Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, where friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.
The family would like to to say a special thanks to all the aides and nurses at Senior Independence Hospice. He will be sadly missed by everyone.
