Paula A. Wammes, 57, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born January 23, 1953 in Bellefontaine, to the late Paul E. and Ruth E. (Calland) Wammes.
Surviving is a sister, Shelley Wammes of West Liberty, Ohio; her soul mate for over twenty five years, Jim Stolly; her aunt Helen Wammes of Bowling Green, Ohio; best friends from high school, Judy Goodrich of Bellefontaine, Carol Poppe of West Liberty and Cindy White of DeGraff, Ohio; special cousins in Bowling Green; and her faithful dog, Betsy. She was preceded in death by another sister, Julie Wammes.
She and her sister, Shelley, are owners of Wammes Storage and Rentals. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, graduated in 1971 from Bellefontaine High School and was a member of the American Legion for over 40 years. She was a generous supporter of numerous charities in Logan County and she loved her flower gardens.
Rev. William Zeller will conduct the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Following the funeral service, interment will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
