Pauline May Craig, age 89, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away at 3:45 P.M. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Heartland of Urbana in Urbana, Ohio.
She was born in South Hadley, Massachusetts January 11, 1925, to the late Robert and Catherine (Waugh) Barclay. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Carter; an infant son; a great-great granddaughter; a sister, Gloria Barclay and two brothers, Buzz and Richard Barclay.
On May 27, 1974, Pauline married Ronald “Mose” Craig who preceded her in death July 28, 2006.
Pauline and her late first husband, Charles E. Stuart, had eleven children together; Barclay Stuart, Bruce (Linda) Stuart, Blair Stuart, Bryan Stuart, Bob “Mick” Stuart, Buzz Cheyenne (Kim) Stuart, Bob-ette King, “Tinker” Belle (Jeff) Burkett, Brett (Deb) Stuart and Becky (Mike) Heckman. Also surving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; a sister, Irene Barclay; a brother-in-law, Don Carpenter; and a son-in-law, Herb Carter.
Pauline was a caring and generous person whose life always revolved around serving extraordinary food to other people as she continually gave from her heart no matter where she went.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 29, 2014, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty with one hour of visitation prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
