Penny L. Cummins, 49, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away at 10:04 A.M. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her home. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio May 9, 1963, to Joy (Jones) King and the late Robert King.
In addition to her mother, Penny is also survived by her two sons, Corey and Ben Cummins; a sister, Faith (Carl) Willans of Markleville, Indiana; a brother, Scott (Vicky) King of Marysville, Ohio; a special friend, Stoney Odle of Bellefontaine; four nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.
Penny was an associate at Honda of America in Marysville. She was a member of the First Church of God in West Liberty, where she enjoyed singing for church services. She was a lover of cats and reading. Penny had a passion for cooking and baking, and was well known for her carrot cake bars.
Pastor Ron Irick will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 8, 2013 at the First Church of God in West Liberty. Calling hours are Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2 to 5 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
