Perry Joseph "Joe" Mitchell

Perry Joseph “Joe” Mitchell, 24, of Rushsylvania, passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on April 1, 1999, the son of Perry O. and Kristie (Smith) Mitchell, both surviving in Rushsylvania. 

He is also survived by his three sisters; Elizabeth Mitchell, Frances Mitchell, Donna (Tim) Johnson, one brother, Adam (Mckayla) Roby, his nieces and nephews; Tristen Roby, Xavier, Grace, Jeffrey, Abigail, Samuel, and Cecilia Johnson, his maternal grandmother, Candy Britton, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Mitchell, maternal grandfather, Robert Smith, and paternal grandparents, Robert & Frances Mitchell.

Joe was a 2017 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School and had worked in the solar energy industry.  He enjoyed his computer, playing video games, and fishing.

Pastor John Watkins will officiate a graveside service in Rushsylvania Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.  Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 310 N. Elizabeth St., Belle Center, OH 43310.
