Philip Francis Straquadine, 54, of West Liberty, passed away on March 5, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 28, 1962 to the late Samuel Joseph and Edith Lucille (Medley) Straquadine.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Xavier Francis Straquadine, Dillon Thomas Straquadine, and Dominic Joseph Straquadine, all of Marion; his former wife, Kimberly Freeman of Marion; sisters, Mary Bennett of Columbus, Annette Straquadine of Columbus; brothers; Danny Straquadine of Hilliard and Anthony Straquadine of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, a sister, Angie Straquadine, preceded him in death.
Philip was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. He served in the Army from 1983 through 1987 and a few years in the Army Reserves. Philip loved NASCAR, cooking, wrestling, playing corn hole with his sons, reading, and listening to music. All who loved him will deeply miss him.
Father Shawn Landenwich will celebrate a memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 328 E. Patterson Ave, Bellefontaine. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
