Phillip Jenkins

Phillip “Gene” Jenkins, 75, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at 10:05 A.M., at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Jefferson Township, Logan County July 1, 1934, a son of the late Ervin and Wanda Devine Jenkins.

He was employed by the Bellefontaine Examiner for fifty years retiring in 2003. He graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1955.

A memorial service will be held at Heartland of Bellefontaine Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Ed Beale officiating. Burial will take place at the Zanesfield Cemetery in Zanesfield, Ohio, at a later date.

Per Mr. Jenkins request, his body will be cremated.
