Phillip A. Lamberson

Phillip A. Lamberson, age 72, of Lakeview, Ohio passed away at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at his home. He was born in Columbus, Ohio September 25, 1944, to the late Turley and Rilla (Daly) Lamberson.

He is survived by his son, Sean Phillip Lamberson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; a sister, Gail Lirette of The Villages in Florida; nephews, Brian (Leah) Lirette of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Blake Lirette of Russells Point, Ohio; several cousins, and many friends.

Phillip was a United States Navy Veteran.  He retired as a chef and Japanese chef.  Phillip was a member of the AMVETS Doyle R. Miller Post #39 in Lakeview.  He was an avid and accomplished trap shooter. Many say he was a “born natural.” Phillip loved to go fishing and hunting.  All who loved him will miss him.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided by the Logan County Veteran’s Honor Guard following the service.
