Phyllis N. King, 79, of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at her son's residence in Lewistown, Ohio.
She was born December 26, 1933, in Huntsville to the late Nathan J. and Vera F. (Wiser) Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. King whom she married in Bellefontaine, Ohio in 1983. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Staton.
Surviving are her four sons, Dennis (Diane) Clay of Joplin, Missouri, Timothy (Martha) Clay of Huntsville, Dave (Linda) Clay of Lewistown and Jamie N. Armstrong of Huntsville; daughter, Penny Jo Phillips of Bellefontaine; her siblings, Roy (Shelley) Moore of Bellefontaine and Joan Shaner of Huntsville; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and her caregiver, Vickie Myers.
A homemaker, Phyllis attended the Huntsville United Methodist Church. She liked fishing, waterskiing, and riding her skidoo. She had a sense of humor, loved her coffee and also had a love for her Chihuahuas, Cookie and Tootsie. An awesome lady, Phyllis was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 26, 2013. Interment will be at the Huntsville cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
