Phyllis Marie King

Beloved wife, mother, Nanny, and friend, Phyllis Marie King, 72, of Bellefontaine, left this world at 10:42 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on December 28, 1945, a daughter of the late Carl Baughman.

On March 19, 1967, Phyllis married her husband of 51 years, Donald “Deputy Don” King, and he survives, along with their four children, Michelle (Brandon) Reed, Donita (Jeff) Hammond, D. Rea (Kaci) King, and Kenneth “K.C.” (Missy) King; and all her favorite grandkids, Tyler Reed, Austin Reed, Justin Headley, Madi King, Austin King, Tyler Hammond, Ashlie Spencer, Maggie Hammond, Lilly Hammond, and Sammy King; and many beloved friends. In addition to her father, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her mother Wilma Gildow, and sister/cousin Jane Guy.

Phylly had worked with the telephone company for 44 ½ years. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, leisurely breakfasts with friends, basking in the sun, and making memories with her grandkids.

Pastor Matthew Williams will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at South Union Mennonite Church, 56 State Route 508, West Liberty, Ohio.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty.
