Priscilla Ann Moffitt, 76, of West Liberty, died with her family at her side on Thursday, August 3, 2023. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on December 12, 1946, to the late Lloyd D. and Geneva Lorene (Yoder) Hartzler.
On July 11, 1964, she married William Harley Moffitt who preceded her in death, but not before celebrating 44 years of marriage. She is also preceded in death by brothers Donald and Larry Hartzler.
Ann was a devoted sister, wife, mother, and her favorite title “grandma”. Survivors include a son, Jim (Jackie) Moffitt of San Diego, CA; a daughter, Cindy (Paul) Bartlett of Marysville, OH; two granddaughters: Amanda (Cody) Fulwider of Plain City, OH and Megan King of Marysville, OH; a sister, Nancy Spencer of West Liberty, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, a host of friends lovingly referred to as “her cronies”; and her grand dog, Max.
Ann was a member of the South Union Mennonite Church and was employed with Mac-O-Cheek Farms for over 30 years before retiring to travel and enjoy time with family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, tending her garden, canning, making candy, traveling with Cindy and friends, and playing mahjong or bridge with her friends.
Pastor Matthew Williams will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the South Union Mennonite Church, 56 State Route 508, West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Visitation will be two hours prior from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Fairview West Liberty Cemetery.
