Quo Vadis (McGinnis) Clark, 88, of Bellefontaine, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 12:32 p.m. at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on May 2, 1927 in North Lewisburg, Ohio, to Ralph and Marie (Whetsel) McGinnis. She was a graduate of West High School, Columbus, Ohio and attended Ohio State University.
She worked at Westinghouse Electric Corporation for many years and retired from the State of Ohio. On December 4, 2000, she married Neal Edward Clark of Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Mrs. Clark was a member of Grace A.M.E. Church where she served faithfully, a member of the Red Hats Club, and the Senior Citizens Crochet Club of Bellefontaine, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Bobbi Jean Bethel-Moore, sisters, Joan Williams, Patricia Robles, brother, Ralph McGinnis, and son-in-law, James Lynn.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory; three sons, Treston (“Lujack”) Moore of the Virgin Islands, Chuck (Leslie) Moore of Riallto, California and Gil (Kathy) Wall of Aurora, Colorado; five daughters, Tandelaya (“Tawny”) Lynn, Patty Carter and Jodi Phillips of Columbus, Ohio, Debbie Gorham and Cassie (Mike) Hassel of Bellefontaine; step-children, Deborah Stockton, Williamson, West Virginia, Jeff Clark and Monica Munger of Bellefontaine; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; six step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; brothers and sister-in-laws, Lester (Gloria Dean) Clark of Kenton, Roscelle Clark, Betty Rogan, Voncella Clark and Theresa Clark all of Bellefontaine and many dear friends.
The viewing will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2 – 6 p.m. at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 North Main Street, Bellefontaine with Home going service being held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the First Church of God, 1000 East Brown Ave., Bellefontaine where viewing will be one hour prior to the service with Rev. JD Grigsby, Jr. officiating.
Interment will be at the Hathaway Cemetery in West Mansfield following the service. After the interment, the family will receive family and friends at the Young’s Event and Entertainment Center.
