R. Wayne "Booder" Wilcox

R. Wayne “Booder” Wilcox, 37, of West Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 2, 1987, the son of Bobby Dean and Stephanie (Grow) Wilcox, who survive of West Mansfield. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Adam (Jessica) Wilcox, a sister, Tabitha Wilcox Ferrell, paternal grandparents, Roy (Josephine) Robinson, maternal grandmother, Carol Sue Grow, his nieces and nephews, Laila Lynch, Zeke Iiams, Kennedy Ferrell and Keegan Ferrell.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Duward Wilcox and John Grow and an uncle, John Grow, Jr.

Booder graduated from Ridgemont High School thru the Ohio Hi Point Career Center. He had worked for Honda in assembly. He loved to be with family and to make people laugh. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.

Pastor Terry Robinson will officiate a celebration of life service at a later date. Details to follow.
