Ralph B. Amerine

Ralph B. Amerine, age 93, of Zanesfield, Ohio passed away Monday morning, September 30, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Ralph was born in Zanesfield October 28, 1925, to the late Raymond W. and Helen M. (Titus) Amerine.   Ralph married Patricia Ann Vance October 22, 1950 in Bellefontaine, and she preceded him in death March 27, 2004.  Ralph was also preceded in death by his son, Rick Amerine July 15, 2016.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Cindy Amerine of Zanesfield; daughter-in-law, Patsy Amerine of Zanesfield; three grandchildren, Sean Amerine, Courtney (Christopher) Frederick, and Tiffany (Shane) Cawley; three great-grandchildren, Gabby, Tristen, and Lizzy; a sister, Joan Dill of Bellefontaine, Ohio and a brother-in-law, Richard Vance of Bellefontaine.

A veteran of the United States Army, Ralph was a life-long farmer.   He also worked as a machinist at Rockwell and at Rockwell-Boeing in Columbus, then he went to work at Dresser in Sidney.  Ralph was a hard worker and loved spending time with his family.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service Friday, October 4, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.

The family was assisted with the arrangements by the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
