Ralph Lyle Cook

Ralph Lyle Cook, age 83, of Harper, Ohio passed away at 11:50 P.M. Sunday, January 13, 2019.

He was born In Toledo, Ohio September 1, 1935, to Ralph and Margarite (Dushanne) Cook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Don and Mike; his sister, Phyllis Hoepfl and a son, Ralph Roy “Rob” Cook.

He is survived by his three sons, Michael Cook, Donald (Kris) Cook and Eric (Domini) Cook; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ralph was a graduate of Morrison R. Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, the Ohio National Guard, and a retiree of the city of Bellefontaine. He loved playing softball, watching baseball, football and westerns. He enjoyed fishing, his collection of knives, and his kids and grandkids. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh with his many songs, limericks, poems, and humorous sayings.  He is loved and will be greatly missed!

His son, Pastor Eric Cook will officiate a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.

Burial will be at the Harper Cemetery on a later date.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
