Ralph Rea Williams, Jr. 60, of Bellefontaine passed away Monday evening, December 22, 2014 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born in Bellefontaine on August 12, 1954 to the late Ralph R. and Mildred V. (Gildow) Williams, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his sister Virginia Lee Elliott, and a wife Sharon (Kensler) Williams who died on March 18, 1997.
Ralph worked at Conrail and later at Honda of America where he retired in 2013 after 32 years. He was a member of the Indian Lake Moose and was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR. Ralph also enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, Corvettes and horseshoes. He attended the Bellefontaine First Church of God.
Ralph is survived by his wife Kathy (Berry) Williams, whom he married April 3, 1998; sons: Nicolas (Kory) Williams of Russells Point, Fred Jackson of Alabaster, Alabama and Marc Huffman of Bellefontaine; daughters: Sherri Mears of Hendricks, Tennessee, Cindi (George) Urban of Marysville, Serena Huffman of Bellefontaine; nine grandchildren: Amelia Rea, Lukas, Halie, Aaron Rea, Mason, Marissa, Grant, Evan and Kaylee; and close nieces and nephews.
Pastor C.J. Plogger will officiate the funeral service on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 1pm at the Bellefontaine First Church of God where visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
The Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
