Ramona Harris

Ramona Maxine Harris, 87, of Bellefontaine died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta, where she had resided since July of 2014.

She was born September 19, 1928 in Bellefontaine the daughter of the late Marion Francis and Eva Gladys (Groves) Watkins. On February 27, 1949 in Rushsylvania, she married Donald Trevor Harris and he preceded her death on June 5, 1976. She is also preceded by a son, Fred W. Harris, a granddaughter, Caitlyn L. Harris, a grandson, Trevor Harris, an infant sister, Betty Jean Watkins, one brother, John Watkins and one sister, Betsy Matthews.

She is survived by two daughters, Marian Danyse (David) Christiansen of Wapakoneta and Holly Anne (Adam) VanBuskirk of Bellefontaine and son, Kevin M. (Laurie) Harris of Bellefontaine, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a brother, Glenn W. Watkins of Kenton, OH.

Ramona was a 1946 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Bellefontaine.

Pastor Rob Fulton will officiate a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5 until 8:00 p.m.. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
