Reba Jane Focht, age 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center in Lakeview, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio September 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Charles and Allie (Crump) Dye.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Roy Focht in 1980, whom she married August 30, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky. Also preceding her in death were two infant grandchildren, Amanda Jo Focht in 1982, and David Lester Focht in 1984.
She is survived by her son, David LeRoy (Dianna) Focht of Belle Center, Ohio; one granddaughter, Susan Frazier of Bellefontaine and two great grandchildren, Blake and Brayden Frazier.
Reba came from a large family of eleven siblings, with four brothers and six sisters. She graduated from Lewistown High School and was an avid bowler, reader, and was interested in all of her families’ activities. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care.
Per her request, there will be no visitation and burial will be private at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
