Richard “Dick” J. Bolt, 60, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 30, 1950 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Robert and Arlene (Bowman) Bolt.
He is survived by his wife, Kim (Peck) Bolt; four sons, Chad (Kelly) Bolt of Columbus, Ohio, Adam Bolt of Corona, California, Brendan “B.J.” Bolt of Bellefontaine, and Derrek Bolt of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Tom (Kim) Bolt of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Michael Bolt of Zeeland, Michigan; two sisters, Patricia Drummond of Rockford, Michigan, and Jayne (Kraig) Paffhausen of Grandville, Michigan; one grandson, Caden Bolt of Columbus, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dick was a regional sales manager for Lakeland Industries of Ronkonkoma, New York. He was a United States Veteran after serving in the Army Reserves and was a member of the Bellefontaine BPOE # 132 and the V.F.W. # 1080. He enjoyed boating at Lake Erie and spending time with his friends and family.
There will be a celebration of life service at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the V.F.W. # 1080 in Bellefontaine. Following the service, there will be sharing time and a meal served.
