Richard Foust

Richard E. “Rick” Foust, 62, of Russells Point, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, December 9, 2013 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

He was born May 15, 1951, in Piqua, Ohio to Richard J. and Opal (Allen) Foust. Rick was preceded in death by his father and a brother, David Foust.

Rick married the former Bonnie Hiles in Wapakoneta, Ohio February 28, 1971, and she survives in Russells Point. He is also survived by his mother, Opal Wones of Quincy, Ohio and her husband Roy; two daughters, Jenny Foust of Columbus, Ohio and Donna Swiger of Russells Point; three grandchildren, Kailey, Jacob and Spencer; two sisters, Betty Pitts of Quincy and Sondra (David) Pitts of Mt. Victory, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Rick Stevens of College Corner, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Rick drove for the Shelly Company and was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles. He also played in the Indian Lake pool league for many years. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed fishing, boating, listening to music and singing karaoke.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at the A & E Campgrounds in Bellefontaine Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 4 P.M.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, Ohio assisted the family with the arrangements.
