Richard C. Hinkle, 59, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, October 26, 2013 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
Richard was born in Lima, Ohio July 28, 1954, to Albert R. and Joan (Clark) Hinkle.
Richard is survived by his mother Joan Hinkle of Lakeview; a sister, Sue (William) Sonntag of Lima; two nieces; a nephew; three great-nephews; a great-niece, and his beloved dog Daphanie. He was preceded in death by his father and a niece.
Richard was a 1972 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He went on to graduate in 1976 with a degree in Criminal Justice from the Bowling Green State University and a degree in Sociology from the University of Florida in 1980. He obtained an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2006. Richard lived and worked in Florida, Arizona and Michigan before returning to Ohio.
A private family graveside service will be held at the New Roundhead Cemetery in Roundhead, Ohio at a later date.
The staff of the Smith-Eichholtz Funeral Home in Lakeview assisted the family with the arrangements.
