Richard Ingle

Richard E. Ingle, 82, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 6:57 P.M. in the emergency room at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. He was born in Dayton, Ohio September 17, 1929, a son of the late Harry Robert and Bertha Isabel (Williams) Ingle. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Yvetta and an infant son, Timothy; sisters, Janice Flory and Margaret Victor.

On December 31, 1952 in Covington, Ohio, he married the former Levina “Dee” Wagner and she survives along with daughters, Jean (David) Cotterman of Huntsville, Ohio, Dianna (John) Borba of Union, Ohio, Tina (Steve) Angle of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Denise (Tom) Hurley of Huntsville, Ohio, Darla Sue Chismar of Lewistown, Ohio, Brenda Becton and Bradley Borba both of Dayton, Scott Angle of Florida and Dustin Angle of California; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; a brother, Michael Dean (Vicki) Ingle of Covington, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a truck driver for twenty seven years at Super Foods in Bellefontaine retiring in 1990. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Covington Church of the Brethren. He was also a life member of the Charles R. Collins Post #381, the American Legion, Huntsville, charter member of VFW Post #4235, Covington and Disabled American Veterans. He loved fishing and playing cards.

Gene Marine will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Monday, November 14, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will take place at the Highland Cemetery in Covington, Ohio.
