Richard J. Kaczar

Richard J. Kaczar, age 76, of Huntsville, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his home. He was born in Chicago, Illinois February 11, 1941, to the late John and Frieda Marie (Schaefer) Kaczar. Richard was also preceded in death by his siblings James Kaczar, Dorothy Kowalski and Paul Kaczar and daughter, Patsy Beaver in 1974.

Richard is survived by his wife Sally (Shaw) Kaczar whom he married April 12, 1969 in Angola, Indiana. He is also survived by children, James (Renae) Beaver of Huntsville, Darlene Gressner of Valley Hi, Ohio and John Kaczar of Huntsville; five grandchildren, Jay Gressner, Heather Griffin, Ashley Knight, Andrew Kaczar and Allie Kaczar; two great-grandchildren, Landon Griffin and Dawson Snipes and several nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Senn High School in Chicago, Illinois Richard served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He worked as a machinist at HBD in Bellefontaine for twenty five years before retiring. Richard was a dedicated husband and father.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 12 noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine where visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service.

Burial will be at the Huntsville Cemetery with military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran's Honor Guard.
