Richard “Rick” Eugene Salyer

Richard “Rick” Eugene Salyer, 53, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Howell, Michigan. He was born on September 25, 1955 in Kenton, Ohio, to William Warren and Mona Jean (Leasure) Salyer.

He is survived by his mother, Jean, of Russells Point, Ohio; half-sisters, Ellen Oakley of Lakeview, Ohio, and Kathy Jo (James) Davie of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. His father preceded him in death.

A Navy veteran, Rick worked for Werner Enterprises Trucking.

A graveside service will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center, Ohio, at a later date.

The Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
